HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT EPP?

I think I can speak for everyone when I say we had a wonderful and insightful session Tuesday when we attended Diana's English Paper Piecing class at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above, Vickie S. shows us progress on her project. I think she got a head start on all of us.

Above, Diana instructs the class on how to sew the pieces together.  Diana is a great teacher and patient with slow learners like me.

I think Diana might have had a hand in helping Vickie get started with her EPP.  Above is another piece that Vickie is working on.  Now mind you, these two pieces (the piece in the first picture and this one) will be going together into one large quilt.  I don't remember the pattern name, but I think it is in the book The New Hexagon from That Patchwork Place.

The class was quite large.  Above Diana gives instructions to just a few members of the group.

Julie B. has a good start on her project.  Look how she fussy cut each one of those pieces!  Wonderful.

Barb has her fabric sewn to the paper pieces.  Now she is ready to sew the pieces together.  Love that center fabric.

I think Kathy B. had a head start on her Lucy Boston blocks.

Above, Kathy shows us the connecting pieces for each block.

I think Kathy intends to incorporate these adorable fussy cut pieces into her Lucy Boston blocks too.

Thank you Diana for such an informative class.  Don't forget about Diana's Fold 'n Bloom class and the Fold 'n Wreath class coming this week.  You can read about then here.
