BEAUTIFUL QUILTS FOR CHARITY

Pat A. showed off this lovely quilt that she finished while attending the Charity Quilts group at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  The women love to make works of art for charity.
Anyone is welcome to join the Charity Group on the first Monday of each month at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  If you cannot attend, the group welcomes donations of fabric, batting, backing.  Above Lee Anne brings in boxes of donated fabrics for us to go through.
Above, Laura and Mary T. check out some of the donated fabrics.
This is a quilt that Mary T. made with donated fabrics and batting.  Isn't it lovely!  You'll have to ask Mary about her secret.
Above are Lee Anne (in front of her new sewing machine) and Yvonne, making beautiful quilts from donated fabrics.  All these quilts go to various charities.
Nancy and Mary worked hard sewing too.
You've seen these blocks before.  I made the centers from scraps.  I call it "made fabric."  Those centers came from my scrap pile.  The rest of the fabrics were donated.  What a fun quilt to make.  Now to get busy and quilt it.
