PUT A LITTLE BOO IN YOUR LIFE

Can’t you imagine this adorable pillow on your sofa during the autumn holidays?  You can make this pillow with Vickie at an upcoming class at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  I don’t have a definite date just yet, but I heard it was going to be in September.  I’ll keep you updated as I learn more.
In the meantime, you can see more of Vickie’s class samples when you go into the shop.  Chris has devoted one whole corner wall to Vickie’s beautiful quilts.  On the far left is the table runner and table toppers that you can learn to make with the Squedge tool.  Next to that are two samples of the Lone Star Swirl quilts.  And on the right are the various items you can make from the One Block Wonder class.
Above is Vickie S.  I can’t say enough about Vickie and her excellent teaching skills.  She is an awesome teacher.  You will come away from her class thinking, “I didn’t know I could do that…or make something so beautiful.”  I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed when you take a class with Vickie!

DON’T FORGET
  • HAPPY SCRAPPERS meets this Saturday at the shop.  Anyone interested in this fun Bee is welcome to attend.
  • Vickie S. will be teaching you how to use the Squedge Tool on Thursday, August 7th, from 10 a.m. -2 p.m.  We will learn how to use this tool and make a table topper or table runner (your choice).  Or you can take the class when Vickie teaches it again on Friday, August 15th from 10-2.  The fee for each class is $10.
  • AQS Quilt Week in Grand Rapids begins Wednesday, August 20th, at DeVos Place Convention Center.
ANOTHER NOTE:
  • Did you go check out the Row By Row Shop Hop website?  This is a must for anyone traveling. This is so cute.  Rainbow Hare has a tutorial and pattern for the cutest Vintage Caravan Sewing machine Cover.
Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!
