WHAT'S NEW AT THE QUILT SHOP

What’s new at the Attic Window Quilt Shop?  Above is Marilyn’s Farmer’s Market bag.  It is by This and That patterns. Keep an eye open for an upcoming class.
Jill made this table runner from the Black Tie Boogie fabric that I showed you last week.  If you buy the fabric, you can get the pattern for this darling table runner.
Marilyn made these darling coasters.  She used the Creative Grid’s Hexagon Trim Tool.

A new Civil War BOM will begin soon.  Above are a couple of the samples for the blocks.
Here is another one.  Call the shop for details.
Above is the Mat Smoother by Colonial Needle Company.  It removes knicks, burrs, fibers and will not harm your cutting grid. You work in a circular motion.  Did you know that you should never cut on an angle when using your self-healing cutting mat?
Above is the block for the Quilters Road Trip.  You can read more about this fantastic fun event below under Upcoming Events.  Each of the 12 participating shops chose a month to feature.  Chris loves Snowmen and chose this cutie for her project.  Patterns and kits will be available for purchase.
These blocks are to die for!  Don’t you love those fabrics?  These blocks will be included in Attic Window’s project for the Spring Fling Shop Hop.  Kits will be available for purchase.
Above are a couple more blocks.  These are my colors!

UP COMING EVENTS AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP:
  • 7th ANNUAL SPRING FLING SHOP HOP, March 28th through April 5th.  Six west Michigan shops are included with giveaways at each shop.  Passports can be purchased for $5 at any shop.  Visit the shop to sign up for a drawing and receive a free pattern.  At the end of the shop hop there will be a drawing for a sewing machine from completed passports.  Participating shops are:  Attic Window Quilt Shop; Calico Creations (South Haven); Custom Quilts Unlimited (Fennville); Pressing Matters Quilt Shoppe (Holland); Queen Bee Quilt Shoppe (Grand Rapids); So South Haven (South Haven).
  • THE QUILTER'S ROAD TRIP is during the month of April.  Twelve Shops are participating.  Passports are $5.  Each shop chose a different month for its wallhanging.  Chris chose January because she loves snowmen.  She’s afraid we’ll all be mad at her for choosing snowmen since we are so sick of snow here in Michigan.  I don’t think she needs to worry because that snowman is so darn cute!  Patterns and kits are available for purchase.
ON ANOTHER NOTE: Samelia’s Mum has a tutorial for a darling little pot holder pocket.

Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!
