WHAT GIFTS ARE YOU MAKING?

What have you been working on?  Are you busy making Christmas gifts?  I’ve been working on some small things.  I have lunch once a month with some lady friends and we have a small exchange at Christmas, so I’ve been working on gifts.  Above are items I’ve made from the links that I previously posted.
One of my friends mentioned that she liked the hot pad I gave her last year and needed more, so I made these two above from UFO blocks.
This is a close up of a block left over from the quilt I made from Kim Schaefer’s book Flower Festival.
And this hot pad is made from left over block from a quilt I made several years ago using the Twisted Sister ruler.  I intend to make more cookie crumb table toppers, coasters, pot holders using the directions in links I previously posted.  If I have time I want to make some monster pencil bags for my great grandchildren from the link I posted yesterday.  Hope you all have a fun and productive weekend.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW:

  • Black Friday Stitch-In will be held Friday, Nov. 28, starting at 8 a.m.
  • Craft Day will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, from 9 – 5.  Join us and make some fun Christmas gifts early.  Four to five projects are being planned for the day.  Class time is free but there will be a small fee for project kits.
ON ANOTHER NOTE:  Looking from something new to decorate your house for Christmas?  Check out Yvonne’s for some great ideas and free patterns.

Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!

Love your hot pads! So fun! I think I am going to have to find the Flower Festival book. I am working on pouches for Christmas. I hope I can get them done in time. Thank you for another great link and for sharing your good work.

Have a super great sewing and stitching day!
