KNOTTY GIRLS MEET AT ATTIC WINDOW

The Knotty Girls Stitching Bee met last week at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  I stopped by to see Show-N-Tell.  Above Jean N. shows us the sewing machine cover she just finished.  Don’t you just love that big flower on it!
Jean also made this Sue Spargo Pomegranate table runner.  What lovely wools and beautiful stitching.
Above, Colleen shows us her most recent finish and sample for her “pick-up” class.  This is a new BOM called Fit To Frame.  It is a series of quilt patterns designed to be fun and easy yet beautiful enough for framing.  The size of the wool appliqué quilts correlate with the measurements of ready-made frames.  You’ll receive two patterns each month.  Call the shop to sign up.
Sherrie shows the group what the Crazy Ladies will be doing.  Crazy Ladies is a new class at the shop where you learn how to put a crazy wool table mat together.  Space is limited, so if you are interested call the shop to register now.

There are lots of new classes being held this week at the shop.  Check the calendar on the sidebar for information.  DON’T FORGET the monthly weekend STITCH-IN.  The first one is this coming weekend.  You can come and finish those UFO’s or pick a special project at the shop.  Times are Friday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; and if you want you can also come on Sunday from 1 – 5 p.m.  Seating is limited so reserve your space now!

On Another Note:
Check out Connie’s blog for a tutorial on a make up tote.  We can all use one of those!

Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!

The weekend stitch-in sounds like fun! Is there a charge to come sew? I'm thinking about trying to start something like that at my LQS.
