MODERN MONDAY QUILT ALONG

What a beautiful weekend here in Michigan.  I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend too and a wonderful Mother’s Day.  Today it is Monday and time for the Modern Monday Quilt Along.  Thankfully, this block was quick and easy because I didn’t get around to making it until late today.  I love the looks of it.  When you look at the single block it doesn't look too wonky, but if you look closely you'll see that it is.  I bet this one would look great in an entire quilt.  Can't you just imagine the various angles and designs you would get?  Now go over to Alamosa Quilter and see what Lynn’s block looks like and then check out Jennifer’s blog and get the pattern for this week.

On another note, this looks like a cute and simple wallhanging.  Check it out at Blue Bird Sews.

It has a "windmill" look to it. Nice! I bet the white would also generate a "windmill" to if you made a whole quilt with this one block.

Looks great! Love it! We had crappy weather here on Sat for our pig roast. :-( How was the Saturday sewing?
